SPEAKER: Stanton Zeff


Almost 100,000 electric vehicles of all types were sold in the U.S. in 2013 alone! This presentation will review electric vehicles (EVs) and the technology behind them. Stanton will also highlight data comparing 100% electric vs. internal combustion engines (ICE) and operating costs. The presentation will conclude with first-hand observations on ownership of a Nissan Leaf as well as the opportunity to view one of the first commercially available models in the Dallas area.



Stanton Zeff is a Senior Product Marketing Manager with Alcatel-Lucent supporting Optical and Microwave transmission products. He has held similar positions within the Mobile Solutions Division supporting mobile applications and next generation soft-switch technologies. Stanton previously held Product Management and Marketing positions with Nortel Networks and Fujitsu Network Communications. Stanton holds a BSEE form the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Telecommunications from SMU. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and an IEEE senior member.
